José Mourinho has lost a game as Tottenham coach for the first time after three consecutive wins. Against Mourinho's former club Manchester United defeated Tottenham 1: 2 (1: 1). Manchester's Marcus Rashford was the winner in particular.
United took the lead after just six minutes. Rashford dribbled left into the box and hit a low shot into the left corner (6 '). Goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga, substitute of the injured Hugo Lloris, seemed taken by surprise by the severity of the deal. United remained the game-determining team, had more possession and more deals. Nevertheless, Tottenham scored the equalizer shortly before the break. After a David de Gea parry, Dele Alli tricked the ball, leaving two defenders behind to hit 1-1 from close range (39 ').
The second half started with a quick goal. Moussa Sissoko knocked Rashford down in the penalty area and referee Paul Tierney decided to take a penalty. The transformed Rashford to 2: 1 (49.). It remained the picture of the first 45 minutes: United played better, Tottenham was barely on the offensive. So United won after competition three games without victory again a game. Liverpool FC – Everton 5: 2 (4: 2)
Liverpool have set a new club record by beating Everton. With 5: 2 (4: 2) against city rivals, the Reds have been unbeaten in 32 league games, the longest unbeaten run in club history. This helped the favorite opponent. Everton has not won against Liverpool in the Premier League for 18 games.
The omens seemed to be swiftly pervading the game: after a steep pass from Sadio Mané, Divock Origi fired the ball into the net to score (6 '). Chelsea vs Aston Villa 2: 1 (1: 1)
For the first time since joining Aston Villa in 2017, Chelsea legend returned John Terry in one Premier League-Game back to Stamford Bridge. Terry, meanwhile co-manager of Villa, had to watch a defeat of his team in London. Tammy Abraham made it 1-0 for Chelsea (24.). Last season, the striker was still on loan to Aston Villa, having scored 25 goals in the second English league for Terry's team.
Shortly came to hope for the guests, as Trézéguet met to equalize. After a cross he headed the ball on the foot and stumbled him into the gate (41.).
