Pakistan’s young energetic contingent bagged the Junior World Scrabble Championship (JWSC) 2019 at Torquay, England.
At the age of just 13, Syed Imaad Ali becomes the youngest JWSC champion. Daniyal Sanaullah bagged the second position while Hassan Hadi Khan settled on third.
On the other hand, Taha Mirza bagged gold in the U18 category, Saim Waqar in the U14 category, Monis Khan in the U12 category and Misbah ur Rehman in the U10 category. England’s Rory Kemp won in the U16 category.
Imaad, in a video message, said that it was a good learning experience and he is happy to clinch this tournament for his country.
“I am happy to be a part of this tournament and winning it especially. I would like to thank Pakistan Scrabble Association for their support,” he said.
